Bernards Township and the Greater Somerset County YMCA

Bernards Township and the Greater Somerset County YMCA are launching a new Age-Friendly Initiative to support older adults in living well and independently in our community.
the New Jersey Department of Human Services’ (NJDHS) has awarded an Age-Friendly Grant to the Somerset Hills YMCA in partnership with Bernards Township, to support local efforts to build more inclusive, supportive, and livable communities for older adults. As a first step, we’re asking residents age 55+ to complete a 15-minute survey. The survey responses will shape future programs, services, and planning efforts.

Paper copies will also be available at the YMCA, Town hall, and the library. Survey feedback will help us identify community strengths and gaps. The survey is voluntary and confidential. If you could share the survey with your contacts would be wonderful. We are trying to reach as many residents as possible.

Community Food Drive
